Biography of the Speaker
Dr. L. Thomas Kole, D.C., M.H., Ph.D.


Dr. L. Thomas Kole was born in Warsaw, Poland in 1953, the son of a wheat farmer.  His family emigrated to the United States when he was about 7 years old.  At a very young age he developed a lifelong interest in Science, Philosophy and so-called New Age tenets and thought.  He was particularly fascinated with methods of Natural Healing and harnessing the energy of consciousness.

He graduated from St. Ignatius High School in 1968 and entered the military where he served in the Infantry and the 82nd Airborne.  After his stint there, he decided to take advantage of a unique opportunity and went to Japan to become a Buddhist monk, where he remained for a number of years.  From there he spent time in Korea, learning martial arts, acupuncture and the use of herbs in healing.  Upon returning to this country, he attended numerous colleges and education programs.

Currently he has several degrees and extensive experience in the fields of Biology, Health Education, and Chemistry, to name a few.  He obtained his doctorate in Chiropractic from the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois, generally recognized as the finest Chiropractic College in the World.

He was a student of the famous Herbalist Dr. John Christopher and an expert on the “readings” and healing methods of the American Prophet and deep trance Channel, Edgar Cayce. His close friend was the famous psychic Ross Peterson who was nicknamed "The New Edgar Cayce".

Dr. Kole is certified in Human Dissection,  Physiotherapy, Spinal Radiology, and Acupuncture.  He holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy.  He formerly taught yoga and martial arts for many years.  He is a master Herbalist and uses his knowledge of  Herbs and Chemistry to formulate and dispense herbs and herbal supplements  for the better health of his patients and customers.  His company, “Nature’s Healing Remedies, Inc.” echoes his philosophy in the company motto, “Searching the World for Remedies that Work!”.  

Currently he practices in the North West Chicago area.  His clinic is located at 7742 W.
